    Shortage of Dentists Leaves Children Without Care

    A significant shortage of public dentists in Ireland has led to nearly 360,000 free dental appointments for primary-school children going unfulfilled over the past five years. In the last academic year, 31% of eligible children did not receive necessary dental assessments. Fianna Fáil senators are proposing a €200 tax credit for parents to alleviate financial burdens from private dental care.
