    New Legal Aid Fee Introduced in Ireland

    Justice Minister Jim O’Callaghan will introduce a new flat fee for district court legal aid, ranging from €455 to €580, amid solicitor protests. The final fee will be announced before the system's launch on Wednesday. Concerns from legal organizations persist, while an 8% fee increase for higher courts is planned for July 1.
