    Jury awards $29m to Irishman's family after crash

    A Chicago jury has awarded $29 million to the family of Micheál 'Mick' Ryan, an Irish-born UN employee who died in the 2019 Boeing 737 MAX crash. The civil suit was filed by his widow, Naoise Connolly Ryan, against Boeing. This case is among the last civil suits pending against Boeing following the deadly crashes that killed 346 people.
