    A judge has mandated that US President Donald Trump pay $5 million to writer E. Jean Carroll after a civil jury found him guilty of sexual assault and defamation. The Supreme Court declined to hear Trump's appeal, making the judgment final. Carroll accused Trump of assaulting her in 1996, and he previously labeled her claims as fabricated.
