    Taoiseach Apologizes to Kenneally Abuse Victims

    The Taoiseach issued a formal State apology to the victims of Bill Kenneally, a convicted paedophile, acknowledging failures by An Garda Síochána in handling allegations from 1987 to 2012. Kenneally, who abused boys for decades, was sentenced to nearly 19 years in prison and died last month. Some victims are pursuing legal action against the police for their inaction.
