    Hungary's Paks Nuclear Plant to Shut Down

    Hungary's only nuclear power plant, Paks, will shut down for the first time due to record-low water levels in the Danube River, according to Prime Minister Peter Magyar. The plant, which normally produces 2,000 megawatts, is currently operating at less than half capacity. The shutdown is expected to last several weeks as drought conditions persist in Central Europe.
