    HSE recommends against Friedreich's Ataxia drug coverage

    The HSE Drugs Group has recommended that the drug Skyclarys, intended for Friedreich's Ataxia, should not be covered by the HSE. This decision follows a review that deemed the drug not cost-effective, despite support from the Rare Diseases Technology Review Group. The final decision will be made by HSE management on August 25.
