    Harrods Returns to Profit After Compensation Payments

    Harrods has reported an £84.9 million pre-tax profit for the year ending January 31, recovering from a £34.3 million loss the previous year. The loss was attributed to £62.5 million in compensation payments to victims of former owner Mohamed Al Fayed. Turnover increased by 1.2% to £1.1 billion, supported by strong spending from international tourists.
