    The Bayeux Tapestry has arrived at the British Museum from France, marking its first return to Britain in nearly 1,000 years. This 70-meter-long embroidered linen piece, depicting the Norman Conquest, was transported with high security. French President Emmanuel Macron hailed the loan as a symbol of UK-France friendship, with the exhibition set to open in September.
