    Government leaders in Ireland are discussing a potential ban on e-scooters due to rising safety concerns, particularly among teens. Taoiseach Micheál Martin is responding to a warning about a 50% increase in traumatic brain injuries from e-scooter accidents. Current laws permit e-scooters on roads at a maximum speed of 20 km/h for users over 16.
