    Galway RNLI Rescues Sailor Off Connemara Coast

    On July 3, Galway RNLI rescued a lone sailor whose 30-foot boat lost engine power and drifted over two miles south of Spiddal. The Irish Coast Guard requested the lifeboat's launch at 10 am. The RNLI crew arrived shortly after 10:30 am, assessed the sailor's condition, and towed the boat due to its location in a shipping channel, concluding the operation around 1 pm.
