    Former MSP to Face Trial for Drink-Driving

    Colin Smyth, a former Labour MSP, is set to stand trial in November for allegedly causing multiple crashes in Edinburgh while over the legal alcohol limit. The incidents occurred on November 2 last year, where he reportedly drove dangerously, narrowly missing pedestrians and colliding with parked cars. Smyth is also accused of failing to report the incidents promptly.
