    Farmer Drowns While Filling Buckets for Cattle

    Eugene McSweeney, a 55-year-old farmer, tragically drowned in Dunmanway, Co Cork. The incident occurred when he lost his footing and fell into a hole while attempting to fill buckets of water for his cattle. Emergency services were called, but unfortunately, he could not be saved. An investigation into the circumstances is ongoing.
