    ESB EV Charging Network Faces Capacity Issues

    ESB has revealed that its public electric vehicle charging network, which consists of over 1,600 chargers, can only support 1,400 chargers in use at the same time due to technical limitations and aging infrastructure. The company plans to upgrade older equipment. Additionally, public EV charging prices have risen by up to 14%, making it pricier than petrol for many vehicles.
