    Ireland Reports Five Cases of Mpox

    The Health Service Executive (HSE) in Ireland has confirmed five cases of mpox, previously known as monkeypox, in the last 12 weeks. The overall public risk remains low. Symptoms include fever, headaches, and a rash. Most cases are of the less severe clade II type. Vaccination is recommended for high-risk groups, and treatment focuses on symptom relief.
