    Eamonn Rothwell has launched a €1.2 billion management buyout bid for Irish Continental Group (ICG), valuing shares at €8 each. The bid is supported by independent directors and backed by Global Investment Partners and Blackrock. Approval from shareholders and regulatory bodies is required, with completion expected in late 2026. Rothwell aims for better performance outside the stock market.
