    Clare to Dublin water pipeline decision delayed

    An Coimisiún Pleanála has postponed its decision on the Clare to Dublin water pipeline project until before July 2, 2027. The project, proposed by Uisce Éireann, aims to extract over 300 million liters of water daily from the River Shannon at an estimated cost of €4.6 to €5.9 billion. Local opposition has been significant, with over 100 submissions against it.
