    Limerick Council Spends €80,000 on US Trips

    Limerick City and County Council allocated over €80,000 for St. Patrick's Day trips to the US in March. Three delegations visited New York and Savannah, with costs including accommodation and activities. The New York trips totaled nearly €50,000, while Savannah's expenses were around €34,000. The council has not commented on these expenditures, disclosed under the Freedom of Information Act.
