    Ballydesmond in Cork requires investment in its wastewater treatment plant to meet rising housing demands. This was discussed in a recent municipal meeting where councillor Bernard Moynihan urged Cork County Council to contact Uisce Éireann for upgrade timelines. Development is currently stalled until the plant is upgraded, although Uisce Éireann has committed to supporting this investment.
