    Cork couple sues HSE over baby's death

    Aine and John Duggan are suing the HSE after their baby, George, died two days post-birth at Cork University Maternity Hospital on December 19, 2022. The hospital admitted to inadequate fetal monitoring despite prior concerns. The Duggans argue that proper monitoring could have led to an earlier caesarean section, potentially saving their son's life. The case continues in October.
