    The UK construction industry shows signs of stabilisation after a prolonged downturn, with July's S&P Global survey indicating a slight improvement in activity levels. The construction PMI rose to 44.7, up from 38.4 in June, although it remains below the growth threshold. Housebuilding activity reached its highest level since October, despite ongoing geopolitical uncertainties.
