    Ceremony Commemorates Battle of Somme Anniversary

    A Ceremony of Remembrance was held in Dublin to mark the 110th anniversary of the Battle of the Somme, honoring those who died in WWI and WWII. Approximately 3,500 Irish men lost their lives in the battle. Dignitaries, including mayors and ambassadors, participated in the ceremony at the Irish National War Memorial Gardens, laying wreaths to pay tribute.
