    Clare County Councillors are advocating for increased public Electric Vehicle (EV) charging facilities to attract tourists. Councillor Shane Talty highlighted the need for a strategic plan to enhance charger availability, particularly in tourist areas. The council is collaborating with Zero Emission Vehicles Ireland to develop a regional EV charging strategy, with infrastructure deployment expected between 2027 and 2030.
