    The Cabinet has approved five days of paid leave for women experiencing a miscarriage before 23 weeks, funded by employers at 70% of the daily rate, capped at €110. This legislation aims to support women during a traumatic time, as current laws only cover maternity leave for stillbirths after 23 weeks. Medical certification is required for the leave.
