    Aer Lingus has announced plans to cut 500 jobs, including 290 head office roles, 140 cabin crew, and 70 pilots, following a €103 million loss in Q1 2026. Despite these cuts, Ireland West Airport reports strong bookings for its Aer Lingus Heathrow service, which has seen over 100,000 passengers in 2025, with no service changes communicated.
