    Blood test detects Sjogren's disease early

    Researchers have developed an ultrasensitive blood test that can identify Sjogren’s disease, an autoimmune disorder, more than a decade before symptoms appear. The study involved over 170 patients and found that high levels of interferon alpha (IFN-α) in the blood could serve as a predictive marker. This advancement may lead to new treatments and better management of the condition.
