    Belfast boy receives heart transplant after long wait

    Dáithí Mac Gabhann, a nine-year-old from Belfast, has finally received a heart transplant after nearly eight years on the waiting list. Born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, he was moved to the urgent list earlier this year due to declining health. His family’s campaign, Donate4Dáithí, continues to advocate for organ donation awareness.
