    Bank of Ireland forecasts 3.5% economic growth

    Bank of Ireland predicts the domestic economy will grow by 3.5% in 2026 and 2.5% in 2027. It expects nearly 40,000 homes to be built this year, a rise from 36,000 last year. The bank also anticipates inflation at 3.1% this year and job growth of 1.1%. Ireland's construction sector is expected to grow rapidly over the next two years.
