    700,000 Specimens to be Digitised in Scotland

    A digitisation project in Scotland aims to create digital records for approximately 700,000 natural science specimens, including over 250,000 insects and 388,000 herbarium specimens. Funded by £1.8 million from the AHRC, the initiative will enhance accessibility to biodiversity data and support research on climate change impacts over time. The project will run for two years.
