    617 Patients on Trolleys in Irish Hospitals

    The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation reports 617 patients are on trolleys in hospitals nationwide. University Hospital Limerick has the highest number with 130 patients. The figures indicate 388 patients in emergency departments and 229 in other wards. INMO General Secretary Phil Ní Sheaghdha criticized the situation as outrageous and a result of a preventable crisis.
