    Man to Stand Trial for West Belfast Manslaughter

    A 38-year-old man, Joseph Martin Dempsey, has been charged with the manslaughter of Joseph Brennan, who died following an altercation outside a bar in west Belfast in March 2024. Dempsey pleaded not guilty during his arraignment at Belfast Crown Court. A trial date has been set for November 18, with preparations for mental health evaluations underway.
