    Legal Aid Strike Continues Amid Dispute

    Dublin solicitors voted to continue their strike against the new legal aid payment system introduced on July 1. They argue that the flat fee of €520 per client is unworkable, leading to thousands of case adjournments. The Minister for Justice proposed changes, but solicitors maintain the adjustments are insufficient. A legal challenge against the new scheme is ongoing in the High Court.
