    Help to Buy Scheme Aids 50,000 People

    Since July 2020, nearly 49,000 individuals have benefited from the Government's Help to Buy scheme, aimed at assisting first-time home buyers. Out of 88,532 applications, 48,878 were approved, highlighting a significant rejection rate. The scheme, introduced in 2016, has been extended until 2029 and has seen increased popularity amid rising housing prices in urban areas.
