    Calls for Investigation into PSNI Surveillance of Journalists

    Colin McGrath, a member of the Policing Board, has urged a full investigation into the PSNI's surveillance of journalists following a recent tribunal ruling. The PSNI and MI5 were ordered to pay journalist Vincent Kearney £20,000 after he was illegally spied on. Concerns persist regarding the extent of surveillance practices from 2001 to 2011, which remain unexamined.
