    Recent statistics reveal that 63.9% of patients in Scotland's A&E departments were seen within the four-hour target during the week ending August 2, a slight increase from 63.2% the previous week. However, performance remains significantly below the Scottish Government's goal of 95%. The government acknowledges ongoing pressures and plans to publish a new national improvement plan.
